Hi. I’m Jerry Albright, Founder of Verbal Summary and I’d like to share with you my vision behind the creation of the very first Presentation Tool designed for any desk in the Staffing World.


Last year our team went searching for a very specific solution. What can we use to make our service stand out from the tens of thousands of other recruiters all more or less doing the same thing?


The research was quite extensive and we uncovered and reviewed literally hundreds of “recruiting” tools.


The buzzwords all began to run together in a hodgepodge of recruiting terminologies:

ATS. CTS. CRM. Tools to help us maximize Social Networking from LinkedIn to FaceBook. There were resume parsing and internet crawling products. Some suggested learning to Twitter or Blog. Another batch of tools would help uncover the secret “Passive Candidates” through branding, pipelining and referraling. But we weren’t looking for 10,000 anonymous “friends” in a global network or a sophisticated way to track candidate birthdays, hobbies and names of their family members.


We simply wanted one thing: Something. ANYTHING…..that would help us make powerful and effective PRESENTATIONS to our clients.


Each and every tool available today led us to the same dead end. Helping us identify and screen the best candidate for the job, but stopping right there. As a recruiter our job is not only to identify and qualify our candidates – but to then PRESENT them to our hiring manager.


We all know the feeling of excitement we have right after a phone call with a perfect candidate! Unfortunately – most of the time - we’re then forced to somehow convey our “professional” enthusiasm and overall summary in a few typed sentences emailed to our client combined with a plain old Word resume. We then “hope” they get the same feeling from reading the resume.


Not very powerful.

Hardly unique.


When all is said and done – we are all left with the very same task at hand – and that is - Providing results to our clients.
